Well, at least she recognizes that the series of letters on the page is the alphabet, even if she doesn't know which is which.
Do you know the alphabet in sign language? I taught it to Jorden. He is able to identify most of the letters in sign language, and it helps me give him clues to what the real letters are.
Also, coloring pages might help her get excited about real letters... my kids like Sesame Street, so I like these pages: http://pbskids.org/sesame/coloring/index.html
Or... you can print some like the ones here: http://www.learningplanet.com/parents/alphabet/
